Joe DiMaggio American Icon Award

The award was presented to Emilio and Gloria Estefan for encompassing the values for which Joe DiMaggio stood, their incredible contributions to the South Florida community, and American society.

They become the fourth and fifth winners of the prestigious honor, and its first couple, following former U.S. President Bill Clinton and basketball legends Earvin “Magic” Johnson and Pat Riley.
