"WE'RE ALL MEXICAN"
"We're all Mexican" is a metaphor symbolizing that we can all become the victims of racism and bigotry at any moment. At this time the Mexicans are being vilified in the United States by some of the media and political leaders and in some of the public's sentiment because they are 67% of our Latino population and because their native country shares a direct border with the United States and are the majority of the "Latinos" crossing that particular border. But around the world, different immigrant groups are harassed and made to be scapegoats for the ills of their respective countries of residence. The song celebrates the positive contributions of immigrants in the United States as a balance to the negativity being expressed publicly. El título de la canción es una metáfora simbolizando que todos podemos, en cualquier momento, convertirnos en víctimas del racismo. En este momento en los Estado Unidos los Mexicanos son los que primordialmente están sufriendo estos ataques en los medios y por diferentes políticos. Porque son 67% de la población Latina en E.U. y México el compartir la frontera con Norte América hace más fácil que Mexicanos sean la mayoría de los que entran por ahí. Pero en otras partes del mundo los inmigrantes sufren ataques de racismo y generalmente los culpan por los males que sufre el país. Esta canción celebra los acontecimientos y logros de Latinos en E. U. que han contribuido positivamente para ofrecer un balance a los comentarios negativos que se suelen escuchar.
